This might be a simple idea, but Oh how it would work well for children. Instead of simply telling children to improve, Progress Cards help them learn exactly what is necessary to get better results. When they see their incremental progress over time, it encourages them to continue instead of what most people do--quit due to their frustration of not instantly meeting their goal. Teaching children how to stick to their goals and seek delayed gratification is a crucial life lesson.
